7 Questions That Can Change Your Existence

7 questions that can change your existence

When we are little, everything makes us curious and draws our attention. As we grow a little, we want to have the answer to everything and we instigate our parents to answer questions such as where do we come from ?, why do we die ?, etc.

Then, as we become adults, we are not as curious as we used to be. But that does not mean that we do not like mysteries or challenges, only that we are too busy to ask questions about certain issues. And that’s when we take things for granted, a very serious mistake.

If we had the opportunity to be little again, what things do you think we would ask the grown-ups? What would catch our attention? It is a good idea to question certain “truths” from time to time. And be surprised by the answers!

If you didn’t know your age, how old do you think you would be?

One thing is the years that we are fulfilling following the calendar and another very different is the age that we really have, in what refers to our psychological characteristics.

If we keep an open mind, we are curious by nature and we want to learn constantly, we will probably add years, but we will not grow old in relation to the candles we blow on each cake.

Thinking that we cannot do something because of our age is a limitation that we are imposing on ourselves. Why not hop on a carousel or have a strawberry ice cream if you have the desire to do so? This is not just for kids, don’t forget.

What kind of job would give you more happiness than money?

The two places where we spend the most time in our lives are the bed and the office. So if we use so many hours a day, a week and a year to work, isn’t it worth doing it in something that we really like?

It is true that money is what pays for rent, mortgage and food, however, you can have a job with fewer hours or lower pay that makes you much happier than having money in your bank account. That’s right, because happiness is priceless.

Do you like what you do or do you just settle?

Another great truth that it is time to unmask.  If we all asked ourselves this question at least once in our lives, there would be fewer people with sad, stressed or angry faces on the street.

As the years go by, human beings stop doing the things we like and we settle for our job, our partner, our home, where we go on vacation, who we spend the holidays with, etc. Adults are supposed to work 8 hours a day, marry, have children, buy a house, retire, and die. And if it were not so?

What would be that one recommendation that you would give to a little one?

If you already have children or at least nephews, you would surely want to give them great advice for the rest of their lives. Or rather, by the time they reach adulthood … Do you apply that advice in your daily life? Why do you think you have thought of that particular idea?

Think of something really nice. You may not understand it at this time, but make sure that it remains in your memory for when you need it and can put it into practice.

What defines you as a person?

It is the fifth question worth asking yourself at least once in your life. And it is not worth answering the profession or occupation, since if you were to lose your job tomorrow, that definition would be wrong.

How do you think others see you? What are your greatest gifts? Could it be said that you have “extraordinary” potentialities or abilities? Also take into account your values and how you make a difference between the people around you.

Who would you like to be with?

And finally, if tomorrow were the end of the world … Who would you want to be by your side? The ups and downs of life, obligations, work, the hustle and bustle of the week or schedules full of tasks often take us a little away from the people we really care about. And sometimes when we want to hang out with them, it’s already too late.

So , those people you have listed as essential on your list are the ones you should spend more time with day by day. It doesn’t matter if life ends tomorrow or not, because ultimately, we don’t know that, right?

And finally, we leave the seventh question in your hands… Remember that it must be a profound question and that it invites you to reflect, that it removes you from the inside… You can share it with us in a comment!
